On the controls screen type 'OPERATION FERRET'. The screen should now change and you'll be totally invulnerable with the ability to skip levels by pressing '0-9'.

Or you could try this cheat: When the game loads up push HELP for a secret message and then type in 'WHAT A BUMMER' for infinite credits. Use the number keys to jump levels.
