Instead of standing directly in front of your foe, position your character
above or below them. Then when they walk close to you, move down (or up) and
let them have it. This way, even if they have a long reach it won't matter.
Also, if you are riding a dragon when a thief walks onto the screen, breathe
on him when he's near the edge of the screen. Keep on breathing until he's
dropped all of the bottles you want.
Play the game in one player mode with 2 joysticks. When you die, press FIRE
on the second joystick to get 3 extra lives (works just once).
